Bar Harbor Guide Service offers guided trips for fishing and upland bird hunting, with plenty of opportunity for nature viewing, in the MDI and overall Hancock and Washington County area, as well as destinations such as the Grand Lake Stream area of Washington County and the Allagash Wilderness / North Woods.
Roland Sosa, the owner, is a Registered Master Maine Guide and has over 35 years of extensive experience hunting and fishing in Hancock and Washington Counties, as well as many other parts of Maine and New England. An accomplished fly fisherman and instructor, upland bird hunting guide and dog trainer/handler, Roland has Master Guide license specialty certifications in Recreation, Fishing, Hunting, Tidewater Fishing, and IFW boat operators license, as well as USCG merchant mariner credentials of OUPV captain's license. Roland is regularly Red Cross certified in first aid and CPR and has special certification in wilderness first aid.
